Lowes v. Terrorism

The place that I have never been to before, Lowe's, is doing America...no the world, a favor and they are single handily taking on The Terrorists. Let's see, are they charging the front lines (whateveah that is) putting their lives at risk, are they digging out road side bombs so children can go to school or are they training indigenous soldiers so they can protect their homeland...no.

They pulled their ads that ran during the new show All American Muslim. Yes, it's true. It's exactly like that recent Al Jazeera piece, I totally forget what it's called, where an Al Jazeera reporter goes to a HS football game in Texas. The reporter ask's if they can do some filming and if they can ask people questions about 9/11-n-stuff. When the big fat white man in charge learns that they are from Al Jazeera, he does not let them tape and record and says something idiotic like "It's a shame what they gone and done on 9/11." Really, WTF big fat white man. Any who...

Lowes is pulling the "big fat Texas white man" right now by pulling their ads from a show that happens to be about American Muslims. The guy in Texas only knew that the reporters were from Al Jazeera but he automatically associated them with The Terrorists. Obviously Lowe's believes that all Muslims are terrorists. They issued an incredibly weak statement on their FB page and that is where the coo-coo birds come out (and by coo-coo birds I mean bad fucked up people with hate in their eyes)...

What do you REALLY wanna say.

– “[The women on the TLC show] were almost pretty, till they put rags on their heads.”

– “How dare these people come into our country and try to take over and push their religion onto us!”

– “Thank you for pulling your support for American Muslim, now I will come back and shop in your stores.”

I wonder whether these people would ever have the guts to say these same things about other religious and ethnic groups in America today (CNN).

Isn't this what happened in WWII with the Japanese. They could of been chillinn' here for generations, raised with all the other kids, just as American as anyone else...oh but wait, you're going to the interment camp you Jap bastard. Does it matter that the people in the show are sheriffs, family peeps, pretty much the entire HS football team and good regular normal people, no...they are The Terrorists.

Didn't American go all bigot on the Irish when they first came to the states and likewise the Italians. My people came mostly after WWII, lot's went to Hawaii and Stockton. When I was growing up there was a large Cambodian migration (and I hated it because rednecks thought I/we were Cambodian and would go up to us and say, slowly, "Do you speak English."). The Chinese came and built the railroad-n-shit and in the early 90's, or so it looked to me, there was a Russian invasion (and I say that because all of a sudden there were hella blonds in fake animal print booty tights). And now to the present day...yes, we have bananas and yes, there are Islamic folk migrating to this country, and in fact....they have been here for quite some time (OK, I'm babbling...).

And in conclusion....if anyone is going to kick people outta this country, The Native Americans should do all the kicking. Fuck you Lowes.

* Awesome update just minutes after publishing. A super lame-o parent(s) complained to the school district about the Holiday Festival Show thingy because there was a Hindu song, sung in Hindi, in the show. WTF. What have the Hindu's ever done to anyone. Where are the Hindu terrorists responsible for 9/11. There are none. WTF.
