When Christmas Was Banned

Oh...I'll just say it...The Puritans were right. there, I said it. For 22 short years Boston peeps did not celebrate the xmas because it reminded them of the oppression that they were trying to escape from the mother land of all white people, England (all white people come from England, right(?)). It was not until the mid 1800's that it became fashionable to get yer feast on and get your drink on (again) and have some of that blood of Christ that everyone likes so much.

One of the thingies that the Puritans knew, and the third reason they do not celebrate the xmas, was that Jesus-Man was not born on the 25th of December-dude was born in the spring.

The Puritans were wrong about not drinking (drinking is cool), but they were correct about the xmas...it's fakey fake.
