I Hope This Is The Last Warren Jeffs Update

Wow, I hope this is the last update for this super horrible case. Today Warren Jeffs has been convicted of young girl fucking and imprego-nating. Here's some bullet points.

* "Spiritual marriages" is really assaulting young girls.
* He instructed young women on how to please their husbands (yuck).
* 10,000 members in his splinter cell of LDS.
* Polygamy is "exaltation from God (whatever that means).
* Jeffs is god's spokesperson.
* 67 underage marriages under Jeffs watch.
* Clearly tried to hide behind religious freedom.
*" On one of the tapes played at the trial, Jeffs made a reference to "drawing close" or "being close," which authorities testified is how church members refer to sex. Two female voices said "OK."

"A good wife is trained for her husband and follows the spirit of peace," Jeffs was heard saying.

"Played in court, it was difficult to decipher, but Jeffs' and a female voice are heard. He says, "I perform this service in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen," then mentions the alleged victim by name. When she says something, he responds, "don't talk while praying." Several minutes of heavy breathing (link)."

That last one is so super yucky. Aaaaaaaaaaaaa. "Heavy breathing." I'm so creeped out. Read the book When Men Become Gods to find out about how the case even got to court. As far as I'm concerned...I hope I never hear of Jeffs and his abuse after the sentencing.
